Hey

I have 2 computers at home (winXP and win2k3)

Now I'm trying to configure the win2k3 pc as DNS server... but after I've
created an forward lookup zone (in dnsmgmt ) and run nslookup I get this
info:
Can't find server name for 192.168.x.x : non-existent domain
Default Server: unknown
Address: 192.168.x.x

I haven't configured an reverse lookup zone yet. I wonder if I've configured
this wrong (maybe something else than reverse lookup zone is causing this?.
I ask because I'm a newbie on DNS...).... Here is how I did it:

I installed DNS and configured the server to use static IP addresses.
in Advanced TCP/IP settings I've added the server as DNS server. I added
using it's IP address. maybe instead I should have used 127.0.0.1 ??.. Then
I created a primary zone (forward lookup zone)

(and please if you have a link to great article about reverse lookup, then
please post it here)

any suggestions??
