Windows 7 home premium x64 installed from disk
with service pack 1
Asus Z68 -VGEN3 motherboard
Intel I5 2500k cpu
800 gb ram
when trying to run windows update i get the code 80246008 .I have tried the fix tool no luck .I have noticed there is no bits file in the services directory
the MB came with nortons anti virus .I uninstalled it and have been running AGV antivirus free program.Im not sure when this started but there are about 64 updates to download and install
