No taskbar button when programme is minimised

Lindiloo

Please help. Whenever I minimise a programme the button does not appear on
the taskbar. It appears to be minimising but then disappears. When I open
the task manager the programme is still running so I have to open the task
manager instead of clicking on the button on the task bar to reopen the
window. This has only happened recently. Does anyone know what the problem
is?

Brilliant, all buttons are back. I've been trying to fix this for weeks and
within 30 minutes the problem is solved!
