Hello, I have recently installed the mac osx lion theme and cairo dock on my debian mint 13, but i now find that if i try to open software manager nothing happens and if i try synaptic it begins to load then asks for password which gets accepted then a window pops up with:
E: Type 'debian.linuxmint.com/latest/security' is not known on line 2 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialogue to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
Now i remember being instructed when installing the mac theme to create a sources.list text and to enter it at /etc/apt/sources.list with just two lines in it: debian.linuxmint.com/latest/security and debian.linuxmint.com/latest/multimedia. As far as i can remember this file never existed before this, but i don't know it's importance and if just deleting it would solve the problem without affecting my nice new theme. Any help would be appreciated, thanks Brian.
p.s. Any info on what the 'repository dialogue' is and it's requirements would be good also. Thanks again.
