Even though as you state:
<quote>
ya............... no im higher advanced than u think i am
</quote>

I'll still toss out another suggestion or two.

Check the BIOS as another has mentioned and make sure that the integrated audio is
enabled.
Check Dells site for the proper drivers and instructions per them on installation.
Check the motherboard manufacturer site for the proper drivers and instructions per
them on installation.

SoundMax makes the Analog Devices which are used by many OEM and Motherboard
manufacturers. Most times the drivers for these devices are modified by both which
SoundMax doesn't control nor provide drivers for. You can check any info on the
devices at:

The drivers provided at that link will most likely not work since they are HP audio
drivers.

Have you run the Dell Diagnostics?

Expand "Advanced Troubleshooting" > "Dell Diagnostics" for info on it.
http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim8400/en/om/U70350LRs.pdf

FWIW, IIRC SoundMax is now Sigmatel, who also does not provide drivers and directs
the user to the manufacturers site.

You could also try the "System Audio Troubleshooting" wizard here:

or if link wraps/breaks: http://tinyurl.com/2q29jg
