When I attempt to search a folder of file with Windows Explorer it always
returns no results found. Even if I search on something simple like "A" it
will not ever find any results. This used to work fine now suddenly it
stopped working. Does anyone have any clues on how to fix this?
thanks

Open Explorer and press Ctrl-F. Scroll down to "More advanced options"
and check the options to see that you don't have it set too specific.
Also check the Modified or Size options to make sure it matches what
you're looking for. Selecting "A" in "All or part of the file name" may
not result in anything, so try a*.* and see what happens.
