No audio, video

I recently installed a desktop theme that I downloaded from the
Internet. Since installing the theme, I no longer have any audio at
all, and WMP will not play videos. Any attempt to play videos in WMP
results in the following error: "Windows Media Player encountered a
problem while playing the file."

Other media players, such as the Divx Player and VLC, do play videos,
but without audio.

So WMP doesn't work, and audio is broken system-wide.

I have uninstalled the theme that caused this, but that did not
resolve the issue.

I have re-installed my audio drivers from Dell, but that did not
resolve the issue either.

There are no errors being reported in the event logs or device
manager.

Any thoughts? Is there a way to reinstall WMP?

Click on the blue Vista start button and in the "Start Search" box
type: System Restore and then click on the System Restore icon
that appears at the top of the Start Menu. Select a Restore Point
that was created prior to the date you installed the theme program
and Vista will restore your system to a time it performed properly.

You can't reinstall WMP it is part of the Vista OS.
Go back in time to before it happened.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore>Pick a prior date to
probs.
