i have windows xp ...i have no audio device. It seems to me that I've been all around this computer, including adding devices, as drivers. I can't get my sound back. I can hear my desk top speakers come on..but nothing out of my computer. Can someone please give me direction. Yes I know it's an older computer, but I don't have the $$ to get something new. I just play words with friends, check emails and order some items. I'm not a suffer.

The last thing I did was go to tools and Internet, advance, reset. When I go to sound area, it's gray. I did change my browers to google chrome, from internet explorer.
