Hello,

1. Is there a way to minimize or remove the links to all the newsgroups in
the left navigation bar? They take up a lot of space.

2. I have the "Save email and password" selection checked when logging in to
the newsgroup but yet it always prompts me for a password. I have cookies
enabled so Windows remembers but still the problem. And I don't have this
problem with any other web page that asks if I want it to remember my
password. Is there a setting I'm missing? I'd like to not have to type my
password everytime.

Thank you.

A1. No, but you don't have to use that clunky web interface.

Setting up Outlook Express to access Microsoft newsgroups

A2. Live.com passwords are never saved due to security concerns.

Thanks. I didn't think about Outlook Express newsgroups which I use
occasionally. As for the password, it's odd that they ask if you want it to
be remembered but it's not an active feature.

Anyway, thanks for the response.

I concur. Please don't blame the messenger, however. <wink>
