New Text file is missing from right click menu!!!

Add items to the New menu (aka ShellNew entries):

Have you tried the "TXT file association fix" here:

Terry that did the trick...

I still dont know what broke it though.. very strange.. in all the years I
have been using windows I have not encountered this particular problem
