A new report claims the long-rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro won't be launching until early 2015. While unannounced products can never be delayed, the report suggests meeting demand for the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is Apple's priority right now. That's according to the Wall Street Journal:

"The top priority for the supply chain is to meet the overwhelming demand for the larger screen iPhones. The output of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus remains unsatisfactory," said a person at a supplier. "It would be challenging for display makers to split resources and spend a few months to ramp up production for a new larger screen iPad now."

An iPad Pro at 12.9-inches would likely be more of a niche product, aimed at power users and creative professionals, though larger phone sizes could also drive other customers towards larger iPads. With a big phone you might not need to carry a small tablet with you, and be able to enjoy a bigger tablet at home or at work.

Apple is expected to officially reveal new versions of its current iPads, along with new Mac, at at an October special event to be held at its Cupertino, California headquarters on the 16th.

If Apple announced a larger iPad, would you be interested in getting it?
