Apple is holding a press event on Thursday where the company is expected to reveal, among other things, some new iPad models. Now a new report claims that the tablets will actually go on sale on October 24, a mere eight days after they are announced.
The story comes from MacRumors, which uses an unnamed but reportedly reliable source as the basis for its report. If true, it would fall in line with previous iPad releases, which have typically happened about a week after they are first announced. Current rumors claim that Apple will reveal the iPad Air 2 and a new version of the Retina iPad mini.
iMore will be attending the Apple press event on Thursday from the company's headquarters in Cupertino, California and we will get the news about whatever Apple is announcing as soon as it is revealed. In the meantime, are you hoping for some solid improvements in the next iPad models?
