I haven't had time to install it myself, but in the past whenever I got those
messages with either software or driver installs, I've answered yes and have yet
to get in trouble. But if thing go wrong, you can just reinstall. I've never
seen those messages on nVidia installs however, usually just with older
software.
The last few nVidia WHQL video drivers that I have installed have gone through
the routine of removing older drivers first before installing the newer drivers
(even though I had manually uninstalled the drivers). The last beta driver I
installed did not automatically remove the older drivers so I had to abort the
installation and manually remove the older drivers. Does this beta remove older
drivers as part of the installation?
