As one who helps Seniors with computer problems it is necessary to run my computers with different versions of Windows so I can sort out problems they are having. Consequently I have one each on Windows XP, 7 and 8.1.
No matter what I try it seems impossible to network these computers even though I am sure there is a way.
I want to network so I can move files from one to the other. For instance I might be working on a video problem with a Particular bit of software while I have video files on another and it would be nice to be able to move files back and forth. Incidentally one time my Windows 8.1 sees the other computers and next day does not any more.
