Networked printer suddenly sticks in queue

SETUP:
I have a network with a desktop connected to the router, and two
laptops that connect wirelessly. All systems are running Windows XP Pro,
and are all set to the same workgroup. The desktop has a Lexmark Z45
printer attached via USB, and the printer is shared.

PROBLEM:
Everyone was able to print to the shared printer, but recently, the
laptops can send a print job, but it just sticks in the queue. The
desktop can still print, after you wait for the queue to clear out, of
course.

HAVE TRIED:
I have uninstalled the printer from all three computers, downloaded new
drivers (just fresh ones, there weren't updates), and set it up from
scratch again. Everyone sees and connects to the printer with no issues
and the desktop can print....but the laptops' jobs still get stuck.

Any suggestions?
