Network Problems

Howdy all,

I have a rather complicated problem, my server isn't allowing other computers on the network to see it's 2 mapped drives,

when i go to map the drives this is what i would normally put in

\\foodchain\cdrive
\\foodchain\edrive

but it will not accept these any more for some reason it will only accept the following but the network programs that i use will not work unless they have the above addresses not the ones below

\\192.168.0.3\cdrive
\\192.168.0.3\edrive

Hello vbehler,

If you can not work via names it can be DNS. Please post an unedited ipconfig
/all from the servers and one problem client. Also check that NetBIOS over
TCP/IP is enabled to see shares over network neighbourhood
