Network fails. XP reports "The system has recovered from a serious error"

We are using an XP 32 bit box as a file server and server for some medical practice software. The network is failing randomly and is not able to be accessed by client machines. When we get into our XP box we get the message "The system has recovered from a serious error"

Can anybody work out if there is a driver at fault. We may be able to remove or update it.
