network connection

Hi, I am rex and I really need your help, my netbook which is an acer D270 is run by a windows 7 home edition, now I have a problem regarding my network connection, my netbook cant find any networks and when I open the network and sharing center, the basic network info says unknown and a note that says "the dependency service or group failed to start", I tried to change the advanced settings which makes public network visible but ir wont save the changes and also I opened my firewall settings and it says it needs to be updated or use the recommended settings but it wont.


What shall I do with this, please help me guys. Thank you
