Hi, really need your assistance. I finished recording my last cd and
went to burn it on my new Liteon. Added the wav files to Nero and got
to the burn area, next, then it only gave me the option to burn on my
Atapi cd drive that doesn't even burn CD's

The option to burn on the LiteOn LTN 526 wasn't even an option. Wow,
this is strange. However, I had to get it done as I was playing at a
coffeehouse. It did burn somehow on that drive. So, what gives, is the
Atapi drive being read as the Liteon and vice-versa?

Somehow I expect this has come up before, so some reader will have an
answer. I know it works, but want it to be setup the proper way.
Thanks for listening, appreciate it, psongman

When you say "burn it on my new Liteon" does this mean you have just fitted
a new drive. It may be the version of Nero doesn't recognise the drive, does
it show the model in the bottom right hand corner of Nero. If not then you
need to update your copy of Nero.
