Hello,

I need small utility that can create a NTFS partition. It needs to fit on a
boot floppy with lots of room to spare. It needs to not care what OS is
presently booted.

TIA

Check the replies you received to your first post two days ago.

Partition Magic (by Symantec) has the option to create floppy resucue disks.

These should be able to do what you want.

However, PM uses more than one floppy, so it does not meet your requirement
of fitting on "a" floppy with room to spare.

Watch your first question. If more people come up with more ideas, they
will reply to it. Some people only do this once a week or so. Its a
weekend, you may get more viewers about now.

You are the 2nd person to double post but can't see it today. I
searched google groups for the other and found only one post. You
maybe in the same boat. I appologize, not sure how its happening and I
have not searched for your other post, but I have the headers and
messages on my PC. Not sure of google. Life keeps going.

I can see it with OE and it is also visible here:

Pegasus, thanks for the link to WUG site where I found the replys to my
post. My COMCAST news server has a big hole about 1.5 days long with no
messages on this group.

You could use the microsoft news server instead of Comcast when you want
to consult the Microsoft forums.

In your news reader program, setup a new "news account" and use
"msnews.microsoft.com" as the server name, the server is free and doesn't
require login name and password.
