I find myself with two U3 USB flash drives. I'm not sure I need even one of
them. XP wouldn't delete the U3 partition. Can someone tell me how to wipe
one of them
clean of all files and partitions?

there is probably some kind of security set in the u3 config. open up the
u3 utility and brows around for a place to change the security, then delete
it.

Check with the manufacturer of the U3 flash drive. They may have a utility
to remove the U3 partition.

Put it in a washing machine for a few loads. That should do a pretty
good job of removing any data on it.

There is a utility you can download to remove the U3 junk. Try this
link

http://www.u3.com/uninstall/ (it will try and convince you not to do
it)
