Dear Support,
I have HP Envy dv6 which came preinstalled with Windows 8 "Core Edition" OEM. My recovery partition stopped working, HP Recovery manager is old and not working for me, and I didn't get any Recovery DVDs with my laptop. When I asked HP they told me to order recovery discs (damn...).
I am asking Microsoft if I can download windows 8 that I bought legally, and I want to activate windows with the license already written the UEFI. Thanks
