Hello I am new to all this and I was doing some simple updates to a web site.
First off I did not create a complete back up of the site. I know 1st major
mistake so what happend was I had the site loaded into Dream Weaver and I was
only working on a couple files I walked away from the computer for an urgent
call. When I returned my son was banging on the key board. For someone just
learning the program I did not know all the comands ect... Long story short
the files got transfered and moved around on my C drive with out me knowing
it. When I went to upload the files again I had many errors to links on the
remote site. I have found most of them but I dont know where they all go. So
my question is if I restore to a point just before I started using the
program will all the files that were moved get put back in there original
locationprior to the nightmare?

I'm sorry to tell you this but XP's System Restore will not help you. It
doesn't monitor data files. You'll need to redo the work if you don't
have an earlier backup of the site.
