Windows 2000 Need Help Recovering Deleted Files

I have done and add/remove of a program from my Win 2000 Pro computer. After
I did this I was told in there are a set of user config files in the
c:\program files\(app)\(app subfolder)\(user config files) that I need.
There is nothing in the recycle bin. Is there any way to recover the folder
(app subfolder) and it's contents (user config files)?

You should use something like Restoration
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/restoration.html
or Recuva
http://www.recuva.com
from a usb drive or another hard drive in your system. You want to avoid
writing any data to the disc from which the files were deleted until you
recover them or else they will get overwritten.

You can try to recover deleted files with Easy File Undelete:

http://www.munsoft.com/EasyFileUndelete/

It can help you to recover files even if their location and size is
not stored in the file system structures.
