Had to run in to work with my wife last night so she could check to make sure she'd posted something, she works in the billing section of a Hospital. Anyway, just out of curiosity I gave a look to which Op System they're running and it was Windows XP Pro which as ya'll know was End of Life in April of this year. I can't believe that they're still running XP when God Knows how many ODays will come up with it that won't be patched. This will put patient billing records in jeopardy to hackers. Don't know what they're IT Dept. is thinking but if I were in charge we'd be using GNU/Health.
Oh, and YES they ARE connected to the interweb so they can get e-mail and stuff so it's not like they're running XP in a closed system. Just a matter of time until something bad happens.
