My Windows Vista came with Real Tek Audio and I am not sure what I did
but now I don't have sound please can you help me.

My speakers are in the monitor and I didn't touch anythouch but a
couple clicks on the sound because it made a sound like I was in a
bathroom or room with nothing in it so I tried to change that and nowI
have noghting and NO it's not muted either.

Thanks
Laurie

Boot into Safe Mode - Device Manager - DELETE SOUND section.

Reboot and let it re-install drivers.

I have a system with the speakers built into the monitor.
There are actually switches and controls on the monitor base for the sound.
There are also 2 separate cords, 1 for the speakers and 1 for the microphone
that have to be plugged into the computer.
Make sure the speaker cable(s) is/are plugged in, the speakers turned on and
the volume control turned up.

If you uninstall the current Realtek speakers, you can replace/update them
at Realtek.com.
