My Dell can't recognize my display adapter in the screen resolution and software are blurry and can'

I have intel(R) graphics 3000 in the resolution and i can't choose this option why? the display is on mobile pc display, and the resolution is set to the highest, many software i open up
can't fit the screen and are blurry. I remeber having two displays in the resolution, im running on dell inspiron, window 7 home prenium 64 bits. i update the display adapter and monitors, what seen to be the problem??
