my computer updates with the same file over and over again

Since 16 March 2013, my computer keeps requiring the same 5 updates to be downloaded and installed. Why is it necessary to keep with the same files over and over again? I can say it started 16 March 2013 because it's documented in update history as successful
updates. What gives?
