Dear friends:

Since a couple of days, my Antivirus (Webroot's SpySweeper with
Antivirus) is not detected by Windows XP Security Center.

I reinstalled the Antivirus, and the problem remained the same. But it
seems to me that the Antivirus is working OK, because it warns me if
any program (or myself) want to modify the HOST file or add another
Startup program. Also, a full Antivirus check gave an OK result.

How can I correct this issue?

Thanks

Note: Please forgive me for my bad English, I am trying to improve it!

Assuming you've purchased Spysweeper with AntiVirus, what does Webroot
support have to say about this?

To call Webroot support from Chile is quite expensive, and normally I
receive a very good help to my questions in this group.

There is very little wrong with your English!

The article "a" is not needed before the phrase "very good help" and you
should use a semicolon instead of a comma after the word English.

There is no need to call.

By the way I suggested to you yesterday to ignore it.

Test your AV just to be sure that it is up and running.
You can download a test virus here:

http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm

NOTE: This is a test virus only, nothing to worry about!
