I bought 2 new laptops at Christmas time, one for my daughter, a HP Intel
5450,1.50 with 2 gig of RAM ( upgraded to 4 ), upgraded to a dedicated
graphics card when buying from HP.com( 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS ) 15.4
LCS.

I bought for myself the 17" -DV9500 Notebook with 7250 Intel proc., 256MB
NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS upgraded, w/ 2 GIG of RAM. 240 HD.

Since new, when I play music/ video from Yahoo, YOUTube, etc, it skips,
stalls, stops, speeds up, etc. I have not installed anything on these except
the Norton 360 protection to continue to protect my pc. Heck I even tried to
disable the windows firewall but did not help.

I have tried the common fix methods of disable the enhancements, etc and no
help.

I am ready to throw against wall, Pls help HP techs are no help at all.

Pls help me

I would guess it to be the speed of your connection. The player has a buffer
setting in the options. Making it bigger will correct some of the stopping.
WMP, tools menu, options, Performance tab.

What audio cards are on the system? Besides Disabling Enhancements, did you
check for a driver update as well from the vendor... ?
