Multiboot XPx64, Vistax64, Svr2008: XP can't write to Vista HDD, WTF??

Hello,

I have a PC with three partitions on SATA master drive 1. I installed
three OSs in this order (all x64): XP, Vista Ultimate, Server2008.
They multiboot perfectly.

I also have a second drive, a standard IDE Maxtor 320 GB as an IDE
master. It contains about 250 GB of important data. I set up the
second drive using Vista.

I can't write to it when I boot into XP. I've tried to write to
several directories. I always get this error message:

Disk N: is write-protected
A file cannot be saved on a write-protected disk

XP has also called it "Disk T:"

It isn't write protected, AFAIK. My best guess is this error is
caused by permission incompatibilities between XP and Vista.

Any suggestions?

change the permission using the administrator account.
 
In addition to Michael's reply, are you aware of the fix for the XP
volsnap.sys problem when multi-booting XP, Srver 2008, and Vista? If you
have not taken steps to protect your Vista and Server 2008 VSS files
(restore points, backup and restore center files, CompletePC Backup files,
shadow copies, etc) from being wiped by booting XP then please see

Also, I have attached a grey-paper detailing the resolution I wrote while
setting up a multiboot system.
