"msimn.exe" is "MicroSoft Internet Mail and News", more commonly known as
"Outlook Express".

If you're running it more than once, it's because the previous instances
have crashed.

I'd personally suggest that you clean up your system and whatever is causing
OE to crash, and go from there.

OLEXP: MSIMN Is Still Running After You Quit Outlook Express
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q226313/

Although the article applies to OE5 and McAfee's A-V, the issue *may* occur with OE6
and /or with any anti-virus' email virus scanning module.

Disable or better yet uninstall the email/web-mail scanning module of your
anti-virus.

What anti-virus are you using, BTW?

For additional help, please post in an Outlook Express group for the most complete
replies.

Install, then run HijackThis, and click the Scan button.

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"

Press that, save the log somewhere you can find it (Desktop, My Documents, or
similar).
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.

The folks there will tell you what, if anything, to remove.
