I have two old laptops, one is Dell D600, the other is IBM Lenovo T42. Each is running its own Windows XP Pro OEM, with SP3 and all frameworks and updates turned on. In the IBM Lenovo T42, MSE shows up on the MOUSE POINTER, so that I can scan a particular folder, i.e., downloads is the one I scan the most. In the Dell D600, however, MSE is not on the mouse pointer at all, I am not able to scan a specific folder. This is not good.
I would appreciate knowing [a] why MSE is not on the mouse pointer in the D600; and if it can be added, how to add it? Do you have an automated FIX for this? Maybe needs to add a registry key?

And no, I am not going to update my Windows, I am too poor to afford new software or a new laptop.
