I hope you can help. When I run my virus scan from Trend Micro, it tells me
I have 2 Microsoft vulnerabilities : MS02-020 and MS02-039 . I spoke with
my computer company (Dell) and they installed them remotely. (7 files in
all). When I go to the Microsoft update page, it tells me my computer is up
to date. Any suggestions? Thanks

You are being told you need:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319507
and
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323875
by some third party application?!

And Dell supposedly installed these patches for you remotely?

I'd get support from Trend Micro... Sounds like maybe it is giving a false
positive.
http://esupport.trendmicro.com/support/consumer/otherinfo.do
(That is if your product is still supported - see the table at #6 here:
http://esupport.trendmicro.com/support/consumer/policy.do )

What Operating System are you running (Specifically - Windows what/what
service pack level?)

I ask because the first patch you are being told by some third party
software that you *need* is for:

.. Microsoft SQL Server 7.0
.. Microsoft SQL Server 2000

And somehow - I am betting you do not have those installed.

The second one... (Download and install):
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...e9-b4eb-4446-9be7-2de45cfa6a89&DisplayLang=en
(This one does list that it affects Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine
(Windows) - which is possible you have. heh)

And your Windows version would be...?

Is SQL Server 7.0, SQL Server 2000, or Microsoft Desktop Engine (MSDE) 2000
installed?

Where is Trend Micro finding these vulnerabilities? Have you contacted
Trend Micro Support about this?
