This comes up every time I run AdAware. I have seen many postings about it here and on AdAware's forums, but have never seen a good explanation of why MRU objects are on their list, and how to tell if a particular MRU object is doing anything.

I would really appreciate hearing some comments about what other folks do when an MRU object is found using AdAware.

Thanks. Below is from the recent log after running AdAware.

Others may contradict me, or have a more technical explanation, but here
goes:

MRU stands for Most Recently Used. It is a list, in Word, for instance,
of the last files that were opened. In Start -> Run, it's the last
commands that you entered.

MRU is considered a privacy threat. Someone could look inside your
system to see what files you have opened or accessed recently.

Sometimes I delete them, sometimes not. New ones will be created as you
use your computer, but as long as you have a good firewall and other
protections, nobody can look inside anyway.
