Hi,

I'am currently setting up a new server take replace an existing one.

The old server is a Windows 2003 member server in a windows 2003 domain and
has TS licencing service on it.

Is there a way to transfert my devices cals to the new TS licence server?

Does i have to reinstall my cals using the install licence wizard (once the
new TS licence server is activated)?

Does i have to desactivate the old server before ?

Is anyone could help me ?

Regards,

This should help:

How do I move my TS licenses to a new TS Licensing Server?

Hi Alain,

You must contact the Microsoft Clearinghouse to move a terminal license
server.
They can assist you with deactivating the old license server and activating
the new one.

You must provide them the Product ID, what you can find in the terminal
services licensing console. Check the properties of the server node.

Tell them how much and the type of terminal services CAL's are installed and
you get a new code to add the licenses. They will check if the activated
licenses on the old server are the same as in their database.

I've good realy good support from them by phone.
