Earlier this year I bought a Microsoft wireless mouse. It had been working
well but now its freezing up within an hour of me using it. This is happening
in all of my programs. I have changed the batteries so I know that isn't the
problem. The only way to get the mouse to work is to reboot. Any suggestions
o how to fix the problem?

If you haven't done this yet I'd suggest going to Microsoft's site and
getting the latest driver for your mouse. It certainly couldn't hurt
and at worst would be a good first step. I'm pretty sure this helped
me with an erratic mouse once. Even if you have the latest driver,
sometimes reinstalling it helps. Bob

Bob, I have reinstalled the new driver and so far I haven't had any problems.
Hopefully I won't have any further problems. Thanks for the advice. Cherry

Bob, sorry to say the fix didn't last long. Yesterday it started doing the
same thing again. Any other suggestions?
