WIN XP SP2 - Microsoft 2-button mouse occasionally 'loses focus' after typing
just a few letters in a field. Must then re-click in the field to continue
typing.

What could be the problem with this??

~Thanks!

Jen

Wireless or wired? If wireless try changing the batteries.

Hope this helps.

That doesn't have to be a mouse problem. i.e., the mouse could be
randomly clicking elsewhere on its own, possibly because of malware
causing the problem, and causing you to lose the cursor in the previous
field, but it's doubtful. Try this:

Line 66. (r-h column) Prevent Programs from Stealing Focus - Undo

Is this a laptop with a touchpad perhaps?

Hi Bob I!

Oooooo! Good point! This issue is actually for someone else who I am
supporting, so I will double check which computer she is using. Thanks a
bunch! -Jen;-)
