I was trying to get myself online a few days ago, (dial-up), and when I
clicked on connect, everything went black and windows was restarting. and
much to my dismay...I have no mouse nor do I have any keyboard! nothing I do
can get them moving, and so it seems I am frozen at the sign in page! BUT,
when I power on the computer, I can get a response from F8, but once that
screen of choses comes up, keyboard goes MIA again. I can get into the BIOS,
even typing a password to get there. I am not sure what to change, and the
keyboard is on "auto-detect", and it will work fine, in the BIOS. as soon as
I close that, POOF...gone along with the mouse.
so what would be the cause of that and how do I bring my very missed
hardware back to life again? HELP!!
thank you ever so much for ANY help you can give me!! pennie
