My mouse is double and triple clicking on its own. When I want to click back
one page it might click two or three. So I bought a new USB / PS/2 Ativa
optcal, much simpler than the previous Logitech Optical with software, and
the Ativa is doing the same thing. I have recently blasted my pc and
reinstalled all programs (not the Logitech Mouse). The Ativa has no software,
it is Plug-N-Play. I have messed with all the mouse options as well as the
file options concerning clicking, still it aggressively clicks too many times
no matter how light, fast, hard or long I click the button.
