I recently decided to back up my phone to my computer. My Outlook at the time of sync was completely empty and my phone had 10 years of information.
I downloaded the Mobile Device Center, plugged in my phone and quickly changed the settings so that the phone updates the Desktop for this partnership. Alas, something so simple is so badly messed up by Microsoft. All my contacts now gone. Strange thing is that it did not delete the contacts I added within the past week or so.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Some information. I am using Outlook 2010 (it was not set as the default for Contacts at the time of sync), Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
