Hi,
I have XP Pro SP2.
I don't have (not hidden) both the LAN connection icon (the two little
computers) and the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the Notification area.

I checked the "Show Icon When connected" option in the network setting but
still...
The USB icon appears when i connect a device (like a Disk-On-Key) but then
dissapears.

Any idea?

Log out, then log in and see if the missing icons return.
