Missing installled printers in Control Panel...

Help please! I just tried to print a note and received the message that
there were no installed printers. So I check in the Control Panel under
Printers and Faxes and sure enough there were no printer icons. I have (had)
an number of printers installed (6) and would like to know if there is
another solution, other than re-installing the printers?
 
Do they return if you restart the computer?

No, I've tried rebooting a couple of times...

Go figure...I re-booted a third time and lo and behold they magically
reappeared...

Thanks for the reply. Your problem may be a printer driver issue, but if
a reboot clears it, you should be ok.
