Three days ago I recieved a yellow shield notification that indicates a download is required and useually I click on it or them, and the process begins/then completes and all is good.
However, while this was going on I noticed in the lower tool bar the one with the little icons on the lower right side next to the clock that the icon showing the speaker just up and vanished from my tool bar !
Now I have no sound and no sound system and I have been advised that I need to download the driver for that.
I went to the advised information which is ; go to the manufacturer of your device which is a Dell computer/ Vostro 1520, then choose the feature to go to support and then follow the instructons to download the audio driver to complete the re-install of your sound system.
I am not sure that is going to work?
anyone know of " HOW TO GET IT DONE ONCE AND FOR ALL?"
would appreciate some knowledgeable directions on doing it once and for all...
