It’s exciting to see organizations around the world harness the power of the cloud to transform their business and increase their productivity so they can do more and achieve more. To help make this possible Microsoft is committed to delivering the cloud services our customer’s need – wherever they need them.
Recently we’ve made significant progress against this commitment. In October, we announced the expansion of Microsoft Azure in Australia. Last month, I announced that we will be providing Office 365 and Dynamics CRM services in Japan from local datacenters. And this month we take another important step by announcing that we will offer our cloud productivity suite – Office 365 – and our cloud business application – Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online – from datacenters in Australia by the end of March 2015.
Soon customers in Australia will be able to get the productivity of Office, the business know how of Dynamics CRM Online and the platform for innovation they both provide with the benefits of locally hosted services, including: reduced latency, data residency and the ability to better comply with local regulations.
As we grow, we continue to engage deeply with our global partner network to help businesses of all sizes reap the benefits of cloud computing. Today, we are also announcing the expansion of our Cloud Solution Provider program to Australia to give local partners complete ownership of the customer lifecycle, including; billing, provisioning, management and support. Our partners benefit from this program and our customers benefit from our partners’ experience, expertise and knowledge as they embark on their cloud journey.
With over 30 years’ experience in the Australian market we’re committed to helping every customer make the most of any moment, anywhere, anytime on any device with innovative and efficient cloud services you can trust. Today’s announcements are the next step in that commitment – to learn more, please check out today’s press release.
