After the updates a copy of my excel.exe program file was taken with the suffix .bak I tried to run Excel by double clicking on the icon but nothing happened. I suspect the problem is fix KB2813170. I am running the cheapest version of Microsoft Office 2013
which I think is called student and home. It is the English US version. Word does not run either.
