Microsoft IntelliType Pro updates MS sites are not updating

Actually the latest version of Intellitype Pro that microsoft is offering
for Windows XP or Vista is 6.1, if the selections you choose at their
website result in a hardware/software combination that is supported by ITP
6.1.

As to why Microsoft hasn't updated their website to offer ITP 6.2 for
supported hardware/software configurations, I don't know.

The latest IntelliPoint version is: IntelliPoint 6.20.182.0 - I know because
I have downloaded and installed it.

What hardware/os/language combination did you select from
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/Download.mspx

Because I can't find any combination that yields a ITP 6.2 link.

That gets you Intellipoint 6.2 (the mouse software), not Intellitype Pro 6.2
(the keyboard software).

My error - I was thinking of IntelliPoint when I read the question asking
about IntelliType; sorry for the confusion.

This is where I found the Intellitype Pro new version:

http://filehippo.com/download_intellitype/

I already downloaded the Intellimouse version and I still have the same
problems as before...the refresh/screen flickering. I still have to disable
ipoint.exe to get rid of it.
