Microsoft FUD campaign ie the Halloween documents, or why Microsoft is scared about Linux

Every day you see the usual suspects bad mouthing Linux. Learn some
interesting things Microsoft had to say in a series of internal memos
that later became known as the "Halloween documents" which detail a
FUD campaign aimed to discredit open source anything and Linux in
particular.

The LEAKED documents marked "Microsoft confidential", identify
open-source software, and in particular the Linux operating system, as
a major threat to Microsoft's dominance of the software industry, and
suggest ways in which Microsoft could disrupt the progress of open
source software.

Unlike certain newsgroup idiots like Frank that constantly make fun of
Linux, Microsoft at the highest levels of the corporation in various
internal memos admits Linux is technologically competitive with some
of Microsoft's products and set out a strategy to combat them.

What's FUD? A campaign to spread fear, uncertainty and doubt.

Just to cut off the usual suspects at the knees who obviously will try
to make some lame attempt to discredit this information you should
know that Microsoft has acknowledged the authenticity of these
documents. Furthermore, they have surfaced as an exhibit in the Comes
vs. MS. antitrust litigation. Bill Gates himself had them distributed
internally.

how long these "supposedly leaked" MS "Halloween" docs have been around?
Are you intentionally making a public fool out of yourself?
Yeah...I guess you are that stupid. You're our village idiot!
You've certainly got that dumb act finely honed you moron.
Way to go mr prius.

That's the whole point you brainless turd. Microsoft has been worried
about open source for years so it makes all the crap you've claimed
like Linux is a toy OS just more of the sh*t that keeps falling out of
your mouth.

For your further education, there is no supposed about it. Part of the
official record United States verses Microsoft in the anti trust case
where little Billy G. admitted it several years back.

>Are you intentionally making a public fool out of yourself?

That's your job and you do it so well Frank.

this country that could of built a better os ...they sure of hell couldnt of
done any worst..

Did you pick forty-nine to post under because that reminds you of your
IQ? If so, it is believable since you sure sound dumb in every post
you make.
