We invite all Microsoft Community members to participate in the European SharePoint Community Conference (ESPC) Community Sticker Challenge through October 21st. Your creative submissions will be voted on by the community to determine the best of the best!

 

The challenge winners will have their stickers designs showcased in the community lounge at the European SharePoint Conference from December 2nd –5th and other upcoming community events. Don’t miss out on this exciting challenge to celebrate community!  And props to our Microsoft Fabric Community team for this cool idea.

 

Dates and Details: 

  • Submit your entries from October 10th through October 21st, 11:50PM PT. 
  • Voting will be available from October 22nd, 9AM PT through October 31st, 11:50PM PT. 
  • The winner of the challenge will be announced on November 5th. 
  • Winning sticker designs will be produced and distributed in the Community Lounge during the European SharePoint Conference in Stockholm. 
  • Each winner will be awarded 100 copies of their sticker design, accompanied by assorted swag items (swag will not contain your design). The prizes can be collected onsite during the European SharePoint Conference held in Stockholm from December 2-5 or shipped to those who are unable to attend.

Challenge announcement & rules

Welcome to the Community Sticker Challenge 2024! We know how much everyone loves stickers and want to invite you to join our sticker challenge.

Any registered ESPC attendees who are a part of the community, including all Microsoft team members, may submit a unique design for a new sticker in any of six categories:

  1. Community LUV –designs that uses the phrase or hashtag “Community LUV”
  2. Culture – designs that communicate the culture of the M365 Community
  3. Throwbacks – designs that make us all feel nostalgic!
  4. Insiders – designs for M365 insiders
  5. Microsoft 50th Anniversary – designs that celebrate the upcoming 50-year anniversary of Microsoft
  6. Regional Community –designs that show off the unique spirit of Sweden and the Nordic region
     

Important information:
 

  1. Submit your entries from October 11th through October 21st 11:50PM PST.
  2. Voting will be available from October 21st, 9AM PST through October 30th, 11:50PM PST.
  3. The winner of the challenge will be announced on November 5th.


Winning sticker designs will be produced and distributed in the Community Lounge/Microsoft Booth during the European SharePoint Conference (ESPC) in Stockholm.



Each winner will be awarded 100 copies of their sticker design, accompanied by assorted swag items (swag will not contain your design). The prizes can be collected onsite during the ESPC Conference held in Stockholm from December 3rd-5th or shipped to those who are unable to attend.

Microsoft reserves the right to select additional designs to print and distribute. Community members whose submissions were not chosen as winners in their category but were chosen for printing and distribution will receive 25 stickers of their designs mailed to them. 

 



How the finalists are chosen: 

  • All eligible votes provided by the deadline of October 21st, 11:50PM PST.
  • Votes and design elements will be taken into consideration when selecting winners.

 Design Criteria: 

  1. Messages and design should be positive, inclusive, encouraging, and/or promote the value of community.
  2. Use of any product names, logos, or trademarked material - Microsoft or otherwise is prohibited.
  3. Print size must be one of the following: 2x2 or 3x2
  4. Text must be legible at the print size to be eligible. No smaller than size 12 pts.
  5. Sticker designs will be printed on a white background, any space left blank will be white.
  6. Sticker designs can be cut to a custom shape, provide a 1px line in the shape it would be cut to—design to 300 dpi resolution or higher for printing. Ensure your file's color space is set to CMYK (otherwise colors may appear off).
  7. Attach the sticker design file to the Community Sticker Challenge as .png or .jpg and indicate which label (1- 4) you are submitting it for.

Microsoft reserves the right to disqualify and remove any submissions that are determined to be inappropriate, offensive, or not aligned with the Microsoft Code of Conduct guidelines.  

 How to Enter:

  1. Complete the Microsoft Form to provide your contact information and submit an Adobe Acrobat PDF of the design image

How to vote: 

  1. Complete the Microsoft Form to choose your favorite Sticker Submissions within each Category.
  2. Voting will be open from October 22nd – October 31st
  3. Winners will be announced on November 5th
