My son purchased a PC system from an on-line e-Bay reseller which was stated
to have genuine XP Pro and Office 2007 SE installed. To cut a long story
short, the Microsft OGA Manager has confirmed, via supplied MGADiag Report,
that the installed software was indeed non genuine.
Communication with the supplier has stopped. He refuses to answer emails,
so request for refund is being ignored. The advertised telephone number
won't except incoming calls and the e-Bay supplied number for their customer
support line is an answerphone line that has been overscribed and won't
except any more messages.
He is however quick to respond to feedback left on the site and totally
refutes that the software is not genuine "......All stock obtained from
Authorised MS Distributor"
The site indicates that their Microsoft ID is: 1880195 – Aysha Mir.
Can anyone confirm the Microsoft ID system and what it is/does??? Is the
above ID real or a scam ??? If it's real why all the hassle ???
